• R.Minu of IX G has been awarded the First Prize in the Elocution Contest conducted by National Maritime Day Celebrations Committee, Chennai. She will receive the prize from His Excellency Shri P.S. Ramamohan Rao, Governor of Tamil Nadu on 5th April, 2002.
• Siddharth Nagarajan studing in LKG 'R' section in PSBB KKN, has been declared as the 'Youngest Drummer' by V.G. Communications. His name will appear in 2003 edition of 'Limca Book of Records'.
• S.Lakshmi Narayan XII F1(1995-96), was one of the six students to represent India at the 36th Mathematical Olympiad in Toronto, Canada. He bagged a Silver Medal and evinced his mathematical prowess.
• A.K. Vasudevan (1996) was selected to undergo a six week training programme at the School for Excellence, Washington D.C. In recognition of his mathematical genius.
• S.Ashok (1991) XI E got the invaluable opportunity to visit the US to gain research experience in the latest fields of science. He participated in the programme sponsored by the Center for Excellence in Education of Admiral Rickover Foundation held at the University of California, San Diego.
• Natchu Vishnupriya XI F(1991) clinched the opportunity to go to the US for his research on the topic "Fluidic Devices". It was the Centre of Excellence in Education that encouraged him to pursue his interest in research.
• J.Rajesh Khanna, P.Venu Madhav, Natchu Vishnupriya(1989-90) took part in the software contest at Singapore.
• U.N. Pradeep, Sridhar, Nandhakiran represented India in the International Software Contest SEARCC in HongKong, which is an annual event.
• Ashwin Herale, Ashwin Kumar, Karthik (1995-96) won the Gold Medal at the International Computer Solving Contest.
• Surjeet, Karunasagar, B.Mahesh (1999-2000) represented India in the SEARCC Programming contest in Singapore.
