TULSI VRINDAVAN IN P.S.B.B T.NAGAR

Man does not live in isolation. His interaction with family, society and nature is one of give and take. But many a time it is only one-sided as we do not repay nature adequately. So we owe a debt of gratitude. The Rishis who had revelations of this highest truth constantly tried to fuse themselves with the elements of nature through prayers and meditations to maintain harmony and balance in the environment.

The present day world is filled with violence, degradation and exploitation of natural resources causing disasters and calamities. To save ourselves and our ecology we need to revive our ancient practices for developing good, holistic living.

The first step is to Nurture a Tulsi Vrindavan. "Just as a single stone can alter the course of the whole sea, all the things in the universe are inter-connected." When we learn to nurture and respect [Tulsi] this one form of life we learn to respect other forms as well.

This Vrindavan is now at PSBB, T. Nagar, thanks to Parampara, who are trying to spread the awareness of Tulsi. The inaugural of Tulsi Vrindavan on 15th February 2010 helped to create on impression in the young minds. They could visualize Tulsi amidst Flora and fauna. Students understood that by paying respects to Mother Tulsi they would soon learn to respect the country and its traditions.

This small step would soon take a gaint leap and bring down the disasters and calamities faced by our environment.

So lets protect the ecology to protect ourselves.
